Wills Memorial Building
The Wills Memorial Building rises above Park Street as the University of Bristol's Gothic landmark. Its exterior is easy to appreciate; access to the Great Hall and tower is through specific tours.
George Oatley's tower was designed as a memorial to Henry Overton Wills III. Up close, its stone carving and heraldic details become clearer than they are from Park Street. A tower tour adds a panorama of Bristol and the chance to see spaces normally separate from a casual campus walk.
