The passage is a short but distinctive architectural pause between the Old Town and Calea Victoriei. Its two branches bend around an older building, so the arcade feels less formal than a straight shopping gallery. Ironwork, upper façades and the coloured glass canopy reward looking above the cafés, especially when daylight filters through the roof.
What to look for
Two covered branches meet beneath a glass canopy rather than forming one straight corridor.
Upper-storey façades remain visible inside the arcade.
Useful to know
Visit in daylight to appreciate the canopy, then return later only if the cafés interest you.
Keep the stop brief and link it with the CEC Palace, Lipscani and Stavropoleos.
