Why go
Start at the Obelisco while the centre is easy to navigate, then look inside Teatro Colón if a tour fits your schedule. Follow the city grid toward Plaza de Mayo, where the Casa Rosada, Cathedral and Cabildo turn the walk into a compact lesson in national history. Florida Street is optional if shopping crowds or heat slow the day. The route is central and mostly flat, but major avenues require patient crossings.
Useful to know
- Book Teatro Colón separately and keep Florida Street optional if the civic landmarks take longer than expected.
