Arriving in Cairo by Intercity Bus
Intercity buses connect Cairo with other Egyptian regions, but services use different arrival points. Confirm the terminal before planning a transfer across the city.
Why go
A bus can be a practical approach from cities such as Alexandria, Suez or destinations in Sinai. Cairo Gateway, historically called Turgoman, and the Ramses area are different arrival points; some services use others. Knowing which one is on your ticket helps you choose the onward journey to Downtown, Zamalek or Giza.
