Fifth Avenue Place
A paired office complex fills a block between 4 and 5 Avenues SW. Its glass façades and angled arrangement are best appreciated from surrounding streets.
Fifth Avenue Place shows a different rhythm from downtown's isolated towers: two late-modernist buildings occupy one block and turn at right angles. Walking around the perimeter makes their glass and spandrel pattern, and the change in orientation, much clearer than a single glance upward.
What to look for
Two similar towers form an L-shaped composition.
Alternating glass and spandrel panels pattern the façades.
Useful to know
Circle the block for both tower orientations; public sightseeing access inside is unverified.
