Château de la Napoule
This restored seafront castle pairs architecture with gardens overlooking the Mediterranean. Its interior and grounds have different visit conditions, so check access before traveling from Cannes.
The château is the clearest cultural anchor in La Napoule. Henry and Marie Clews reshaped the historic building and gardens in the twentieth century, creating a setting that moves from enclosed garden spaces to views across the bay. The garden design and sea-facing terraces make a worthwhile visit even when interior access is limited.
What to look for
Garden terraces look toward the Bay of Cannes.
Formal and landscape garden elements sit within the castle grounds.
The restored building stands directly by the sea.
