Trinity Chapel, Saint-Honorat
The small Trinity Chapel stands near the eastern tip of Saint-Honorat, apart from the abbey buildings. It gives an island walk a distinct historic destination.
Why go
The chapel gives you a reason to continue east beyond the abbey precinct. Its compact form belongs to the island’s long monastic landscape, yet it is a separate stop. Use it as a pause on a longer walk rather than a destination that needs a long indoor visit.
What to look for
The chapel dates back to the fifth century.
Useful to know
Treat the visit as exterior viewing unless current interior access is confirmed. Check ferry conditions and wear suitable walking shoes.
