Scugnizzo statue
A small bronze figure on a rock near Capri's north-eastern coast greets boats, making a brief cultural detail within the island's larger cliff scenery.
The bronze boy on his coastal rock adds a human-scale landmark between Capri's much larger cliffs and caves. Looking for the raised arm gives passengers a specific detail to notice as the boat passes. It is a passing observation only: landing below the cliff or anchoring in front of the statue is excluded.
