Brian Fell’s sculpture rewards moving around it: the steel sections carry two different readings, a vessel and a face. The mosaic and inscription connect that form to merchant seafarers from Cardiff, Barry and Penarth who died in war. It adds a focused memorial stop to the waterfront rather than another general Bay viewpoint.
