Chengdu People's Park
Pause in Chengdu People’s Park for paths, teahouse culture and a view of everyday city life. It is a distinct central green space between the city core and Wuhou Shrine.
A visit here is less about a single monument than the rhythm of a public park. Chengdu’s tourism office highlights Heming Teahouse within the grounds, and the paths make room for a slower city day. The park adds a local culture stop before or after Wuhou Shrine, while the teahouse remains an optional paid experience.
What to look for
Find Heming Teahouse within the park.
Watch local life along the garden paths.
Use the green space as a pause in a central Chengdu walk.
Useful to know
Check any teahouse charges before ordering; park access and teahouse service are separate.
Allow extra time if you want to sit for tea.
