Why go
The climb is part of the attraction: the seventeenth-century ramp coils steadily around the tower and leads toward its observatory level. At the top, look back over the dense roofs of the old centre. This works well as a focused viewpoint stop; allow extra time if you want to pause along the ramp or explore any current exhibitions.
What to look for
- The wide spiral ramp shapes the climb.
- The roof looks over Copenhagen’s old centre.
Useful to know
- Set aside time for the ramp climb, even if you mainly want the view.
