When to Visit Corfu
Corfu has warm, generally drier summers and a wetter stretch from autumn into early spring. Match beach days and inland walks to the season, and leave room for changing weather.
Why go
Season affects what the island offers on any given day. Summer gives more scope for shore time but can make exposed walks hot; the wetter months favour the green landscape but call for flexible outdoor plans. The Old Town's museums and churches provide useful alternatives when rain interrupts a coast visit.
Useful to know
In summer, schedule exposed beaches or hill walks around the day's heat and check local conditions before swimming.
From autumn into early spring, keep an indoor Corfu city option for rainy days.
