Church of St. Euphemia

Rovinj’s Church of St. Euphemia crowns the old-town hill above the Adriatic. The church, campanile and terrace give the climb a clear destination and a broad coastal outlook.

Church of St. Euphemia

Why go

The walk uphill is part of the visit: roofs and sea open up as you reach the church terrace. From there, you can study the façade and look across the town without needing tower access. If the bell tower is open, it adds a separate climb, but the hilltop setting already rewards the walk.

What to look for

  • The terrace looks over Rovinj’s roofs and the Adriatic.
  • A campanile stands beside the church façade.

Useful to know

  • Wear shoes suited to the old-town climb; confirm bell-tower access separately.
