Landhuis Habaai
Arched galleries and baroque gables frame a historic country house now used for Caribbean art. Habaai combines architectural observation with a cultural stop west of central Willemstad.
The house’s two full storeys and repeated arcades make it different from the lower country houses elsewhere on the island. Its current use by Gallery Alma Blou brings paintings, sculpture and other Caribbean work into that setting. Allow time for both the building and the gallery, checking the current exhibition arrangements before visiting.
