Sint Michielsberg Summit Viewpoint
A rocky summit above Sint Michiel opens wide views over saltpans, dry hills and the coast. Reaching the viewpoint makes this a substantial walking outing rather than a roadside pause.
The route connects the fishing coast with a drier inland landscape before climbing to a broad panorama. Walking beside the saltpan adds a different habitat to the ascent, with waterbirds sometimes visible along the way. The documented route is rough and hilly, so allow several hours and choose conditions that suit the effort.
