Spanish Water Lagoon
The sheltered lagoon east of Willemstad offers bays, small islands and water-based outings. It suits an arranged paddle or boat trip rather than a walk through the surrounding residential area.
Spanish Water gives the southeast a protected inland-water landscape distinct from the open beach at Caracasbaai. Boats and paddleboards reveal its branching shores and small islands from the water. Choose an operator or a confirmed launch point before going, since the lagoon’s surrounding properties do not imply unrestricted shore access.
