Frederiksberg Gardens
Frederiksberg Gardens is a landscaped royal park with canals, bridges and a Chinese Pavilion. Its paths offer several short loops west of central Copenhagen.
Take a loop that crosses the water and passes the pavilion rather than walking only along one edge. The bridges and canals create changing views through the designed landscape, which is the reason to come here. It is a good outdoor pause between denser city visits; its extent lets you make the walk shorter or longer without changing destination.
What to look for
Canals and bridges break the park into changing views.
The Chinese Pavilion sits within the designed landscape.
Useful to know
Choose a short loop or a longer circuit according to your available time.
