Getting to Denver
Denver International Airport lies northeast of downtown, while three major interstate corridors approach the city by road. Plan the airport-to-city leg as a separate part of arrival.
The airport is on the plains away from the central neighborhoods, so landing does not put you immediately in downtown Denver. Drivers can orient by I-25 running north and south, I-70 east and west, and I-76 approaching from the northeast. Decide on the final transfer before traveling.
Useful to know
Choose an airport-to-city transfer before arrival; the airport is northeast of downtown.
For a road arrival, use I-25, I-70 or I-76 to orient your approach, then check the final city streets.
