Cheesman Park
Cheesman Park offers open lawns and a distinctive pavilion beside the Botanic Gardens. It is an easy outdoor pause when exploring Capitol Hill and the gardens.
The pavilion and formal paths give this park a more architectural feel than a simple green space. Walk the lawn edge or sit with a view of the columns before or after the gardens. It is a separate public park visit, so no garden ticket is needed to enjoy its grounds.
What to look for
A neoclassical pavilion overlooks the central lawn.
Tree-lined paths sit beside the Denver Botanic Gardens.
Useful to know
Enter the park separately from the Botanic Gardens; use the pavilion and lawn paths for a short outdoor pause.
