Confluence Park
Cherry Creek meets the South Platte River at this urban park near Lower Downtown. Riverside paths and bridges make it a natural walking or cycling pause.
The meeting of two waterways helps explain where Denver first took shape during the 1858 gold rush. Today the creek mouth, river overlooks and pedestrian bridges give that history a visible setting. Follow the paths for a short outdoor stop or connect it to a longer ride beside the water.
