Why go
This route is for visitors who want fortifications and open air in one coherent western circuit. The City Walls demand the most time and energy, so tackle them while you feel fresh and then approach Fort Lovrijenac as a separate stronghold outside the walled core. Gradac Park changes the pace with shaded paths and a view back toward the stonework. Danče Beach is an optional final shore stop for lingering by the water; you can end at the park if the climbs or sun have been enough. Check current access conditions before setting out on the walls or fort.
