Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park
Wakulla Springs combines a spring basin, river landscape and historic lodge south of Tallahassee. Visitors can focus on the spring landscape or combine it with a separately planned river experience.
The natural spring and lodge give the outing two different points of interest. A visit can focus on water and wildlife while also noticing the built setting around the spring. The spring’s setting allows an outing organized around observation as well as recreation, with the historic lodge providing another perspective on how people visit this landscape.
