Why go
The route links two versions of Geneva: the compact commercial and historic centre, then the spacious international district. Molard and Bourg-de-Four establish the older street pattern before Broken Chair changes both scale and subject. Choose either a booked Palais des Nations tour or the Red Cross Museum as the main interior, not both by default. This keeps enough time for security, difficult museum material and the transfer between districts at an unhurried pace.
Useful to know
- Confirm the main interior or transport-dependent anchor before starting.

The museum uses objects, testimony and immersive displays to examine humanitarian action from the movement's origins to current challenges. The galleries focus on human choices and testimony rather than presenting humanitarian history as a simple institutional chronology.
