Why go
Plan this route for a weekend: Kunsthal Gent’s public exhibition hours are Saturday and Sunday only. Start there, then continue to the House of Alijn, St James’ Church, the Museum of Industry and Rabot before finishing at Dr Guislain Museum. Allow time for the two larger museums, and check each venue’s calendar before setting out. Rabot is a short outdoor pause between the museum visits, so keep weather and walking time in mind. The route ends away from the central squares, so plan your return separately.
