Elephant Rock rises above Currumbin Beach and gives a short, elevated coastal viewpoint. Reaching the top involves stairs, so it is best treated as a separate stop.
Why go
The reward is a higher view over the shoreline and ocean, especially at the edge of the day. It takes little time compared with a full beach visit, but the steps make it a different access decision. Keep clear of exposed rock edges.
