Science Park and the Genil promenade

Give the Science Park a generous visit, then follow Granada's southern edge past Fuente de las Granadas and the Salón bandstand. Add Alcázar Genil only if visitor access is confirmed.

Science Park and the Genil promenade

Why go

This is a family-friendly southern Granada day. The Science Park needs the largest block of time, so start there and choose its exhibits according to the group's interests. Alcázar Genil is an optional nearby historical stop only if general visitor access is confirmed. The core route then becomes a gentle series of shorter outdoor stops by the Genil and Paseo del Salón, with the fountain and bandstand offering easy points of orientation. Carrera de la Virgen is optional if the group is ready to continue toward the center. Check current entry arrangements for the Science Park before leaving.
