Hermit Road Overlooks

A west-rim collection of shuttle stops and walking segments, from Trailview Overlook to Pima Point and Hermits Rest. Let Hermit Road Overlooks guide one realistic decision about time, distance, and effort.

Hermit Road Overlooks

Why go

Start at Trailview Overlook to see Bright Angel Trail and Grand Canyon Village together, then move through Maricopa, Powell, and Hopi points. Mohave Point and Pima Point add the clearest chances to trace the Colorado River before Hermits Rest closes the sequence with Mary Colter architecture. Use the seasonal shuttle for longer gaps and choose only one or two Rim Trail sections; walking every segment makes the day needlessly rushed.
