Why go
Choose this route for a focused waterfall walk on the North Carolina side of the park. From the Deep Creek trailhead, climb the short, steep path to Juney Whank Falls and cross its footbridge. Continue on the NPS waterfall loop through the forest to Indian Creek Falls, then follow Deep Creek Trail back toward the picnic area. The complete signed loop is 2.4 miles, with some roots, stairs, and climbing; the stop times leave room to look at the falls without treating the whole hike as a single visit. Bring a meal for the final riverside pause. Keep to the viewing areas and give the water room.
