Santorini Villages and Towns
Santorini's settlements offer different sides of the island: caldera views in Fira and Oia, inland lanes in Pyrgos, and shore time at Kamari or Perissa.
Why go
Use the villages to shape a day beyond a single sunset stop. Firostefani and Imerovigli continue the cliffside setting near Fira; Pyrgos turns the focus to uphill streets and older village buildings. Kamari and Perissa put black sand and pebbles beside the sea, while Akrotiri pairs a settlement with archaeology.
Useful to know
Pair neighboring Fira and Firostefani on foot; leave a separate stretch of time for Oia at the island's northern end.
Pick Kamari or Perissa for a shore stop rather than treating every village as a caldera viewpoint.
