Crystal Crescent Beach
Choose Crystal Crescent for a coastal walk around pale sand and rocky headlands south of Halifax, allowing extra travel time and flexibility for exposed weather.
The succession of small crescent beaches gives the outing variety without needing to commit to the longer Pennant Point hike. Sand, granite and Atlantic surf sit close together, offering a strong contrast with the sheltered city harbour. Boardwalks reach the first two beaches, but access conditions and water safety need separate consideration from the appeal of the scenery.
