Kowloon Park
Kowloon Park offers a break from Tsim Sha Tsui’s shopping streets, with gardens, exercise facilities and a playground. It suits a slower outdoor interval between more intensive urban stops.

The park occupies the former Whitfield Barracks site, so its open recreational space also marks a substantial change in land use. Surviving barrack blocks add a historical layer to a visit centred on walking and resting. The combination makes it useful for mixed interests: some visitors can seek the older buildings while others use the gardens or play facilities.
What to look for
Former barrack blocks with pitched Chinese-tile roofs
Fitness trail with eight exercise stations
Children’s playground
Useful to know
Allow roughly an hour for a park walk and rest.
Plan separately for enclosed leisure and cultural facilities within the park.
