The settlements developed from farming, fishing and quarrying into a seafood destination from the 1960s. Following the promenade links that commercial life with the lighthouse and Tin Hau Temple. The setting offers a different scale from central Kowloon’s museums and shopping streets, with the harbour channel giving the walk a clear geographical focus.
