Ocean Park Hong Kong

Ocean Park combines animal exhibits, an aquarium and theme-park attractions across two mountain-separated areas. Give it most of a day, including time to move between the Waterfront and Summit.

Why go

The Grand Aquarium and panda attractions give the Waterfront a different emphasis from the Summit’s attractions. Ocean Express links the two areas, making the geography part of the day’s planning. This is a useful choice when your group wants both animal-focused exhibits and rides, provided you allow time for the transfer as well as the stops.

What to look for

  • The Grand Aquarium is in the Waterfront area.
  • Giant Panda Adventure and Panda Village are Waterfront attractions.
  • Ocean Express connects the Waterfront and Summit.

Useful to know

  • Allow around seven hours for both areas and the journey between them.
  • Check the daily calendar and individual attraction notices before fixing your priorities.
  • Plan Water World separately; it has separate ticketing.
