Harbor, Waikīkī, and Pearl Harbor

Connect downtown Honolulu, Aloha Tower, Waikīkī landmarks, Kapiʻolani Park, and Pearl Harbor in a broad introduction to the city. The sequence keeps Harbor, Waikīkī, and Pearl Harbor practical within one day.

Harbor, Waikīkī, and Pearl Harbor

Why go

Begin where Honolulu meets its harbor, then follow the urban shoreline through Aloha Tower and Waikīkī before reaching the calmer edge of Kapiʻolani Park. Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial require a separate timed transfer, so treat them as the second half of an ambitious day and secure the memorial program first. The route contrasts civic Honolulu, resort history, open parkland, and a place of national remembrance. Falls of Clyde has been removed and is no longer a stop. If the memorial timing is unavailable, end in Waikīkī rather than rushing the western transfer.
