Why go
Begin at Banias Nature Reserve and choose either the springs-and-ruins area or the waterfall trail; they use separate access points and should not be treated as one short stop. Continue to Tel Dan for shaded paths along the river sources and the archaeological gate. Finish at Nimrod Fortress, where exposed slopes and broad views work best in softer late-day light. A car is essential and all three sites have operational constraints, so verify closures and last entry times. If trails are slow, shorten Banias rather than rushing the fortress before closing.
