Scrovegni Chapel
Padua's small chapel surrounds visitors with Giotto's early fourteenth-century frescoes, viewed through a controlled, booked entry that rewards advance planning and slow attention.
Follow the narrative panels around the walls before facing the Last Judgment at the entrance end. The blue ceiling and painted architecture make the compact room feel larger. The chapel is a distinct visit within Padua's museum area, and its timed access calls for advance planning.
