Jakarta Planetarium
Reopened in 2026 after a lengthy closure, Jakarta’s planetarium presents digital astronomy shows in its Star Theatre within the Taman Ismail Marzuki complex.
Digital astronomy presentations turn the Solar System and celestial phenomena into the focus of a seated indoor experience. The Star Theatre gives visitors a way to explore the sky through visual simulation, adding a scientific dimension to Cikini’s arts district. Its subject and presentation distinguish it from the galleries and public spaces around it.
