Why go

The Central Bus Station gives you a clear starting point for the next part of your journey. Jaffa Road leads toward central West Jerusalem and continues in the direction of the Old City, so you can judge whether to walk or arrange onward transport. The Old City is a longer journey from the station than the centre; account for that extra distance when planning your arrival.

Useful to know

• Use Jaffa Road to orient yourself after arriving at the Central Bus Station; the city centre lies along it toward the Old City.
• Check current intercity and onward service before travelling, especially if your arrival falls near Shabbat.
