Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center
NOAA presents the Florida Keys marine sanctuary through exhibits on reefs, mangroves and ocean conservation. The center connects familiar waterfront scenery with the ecosystems beneath it.
Models and displays explain habitats that a visitor cannot fully see from a shoreline walk. They put coral, mangrove roots and marine species into one connected picture of the Keys. The center is valuable before or after time on the water because it gives names and context to what the coast reveals.
