Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory
Butterflies and birds move through a planted glass habitat at the southern end of Duval Street. The enclosed garden offers a close look at color, flight and tropical foliage.
The pleasure is in lingering among the plants as butterflies settle nearby and birds cross the path. It is a different encounter with nature from Key West’s open shoreline: the habitat brings small details into view. The contrast between this calm enclosure and the lively street outside gives the visit its character.
