Little Hamaca Park
Little Hamaca Park’s boardwalk and trail pass through mangrove and hardwood-hammock habitat on Key West’s eastern side. The landscape differs sharply from the old-town waterfront.
The path brings visitors into the plant communities that existed beyond the island’s settled streets. Mangrove roots and hammock growth reward close attention rather than distant views. Its eastern setting also gives the walk a sense of separation from the familiar downtown scenes and coastal promenades.
