Taman Negara offers several scales of rainforest experience. Kuala Tahan supports river activities, shorter walks and canopy access, while Merapoh serves routes toward Gunung Tahan. The forest also protects rare mammals and birds, though the value lies in entering their habitat rather than expecting guaranteed sightings.
