Donner Summit Bridge, known as Rainbow Bridge, shows how concrete arch engineering carried a highway through steep mountain terrain. Its curved alignment frames the western end of Donner Lake, linking the built structure with the granite slopes around it. The overlook brings architecture, transportation history and a broad lake view into one compact experience.
