Why go

Walking is useful within one Strip cluster or downtown, but poor for crossing the entire visitor corridor. The Deuce bus links the Strip with downtown, the monorail serves the east side of the Strip and rideshare or taxis handle direct trips. Choose the mode by cluster and time, not simply by map distance.

Useful to know

• Group stops into central Strip, south Strip, north Strip, downtown or off-Strip clusters.
• Use pedestrian bridges and marked crossings instead of crossing wide roads at street level.
• During extreme heat, replace long exposed walks with transit or a ride.
