We are going to look at how a scene is arranged. We begin with an imperial ceremony, pass a banquet, and finish between a shipwreck and a barricade. Each painter decides whom we see first and which part of an event reaches us. If you have not entered yet, use an open museum entrance and pass the security checks. From the Hall Napoléon, follow the Denon wing and signs for French paintings on level 1. Find room 702 and the painting of Napoleon’s coronation. Ask staff for the open route if a room or connection is closed.
