Why go

A bus can bridge the gaps that are awkward on foot, such as a peninsula-to-Taipa or Coloane journey. In the old centre, however, a route may loop through one-way streets and take longer than a direct walk. The useful habit is to identify both the correct stop and the direction of travel, then keep the destination name handy in Chinese or Portuguese.
