Pak Tai Temple
Visit a Taipa village temple built around seafarers’ devotion to the Northern Emperor, a short walk from the island-history museum.
Why go
An inscribed stele places the temple’s history at more than a century and a half. Its worship pavilion was used for offerings, while the forecourt has hosted Chinese opera for the Pak Tai feast. The site gives Taipa’s former fishing community a more concrete voice than the nearby retail streets alone can provide.
