Huchuy Qosqo
Huchuy Qosqo is a high-ridge Inca site reached by a serious hike. The journey needs its own day, separate from roadside Sacred Valley stops.
Why go
The ruins reward the climb with an elevated view over the valley and a setting unlike the easily reached parks below. From Lamay, allow about three hours to hike in and another three hours to return; time among the buildings comes on top of that.
What to look for
Inca remains overlook the Sacred Valley from a high ridge.
