Machupicchu Hot Springs
The thermal pools above Machupicchu Pueblo offer a slower finish after a long hiking or citadel day. They are a town-based choice rather than another ruin.
Why go
A soak uses the hot springs that gave Aguas Calientes its common name and gives tired legs a different kind of stop. It also fits a later part of the day, when another strenuous path or museum may be less appealing.
What to look for
Thermal pools sit uphill from Machupicchu Pueblo.
Useful to know
Walk uphill from the town center and check current pool access before carrying swimwear.
