Pildammsparken
Pildammsparken is one of Malmö’s largest green spaces, with formal avenues, ponds and broad lawns. Allow enough time to walk beyond the first entrance.
The park’s ponds and carefully ordered paths make it more than a patch of city greenery. Its design grew around the site of the 1914 Baltic Exhibition, which gives a historical frame to the grand scale. Come for a substantial walk, a family outing or a slower pause between southern city sights.
What to look for
Walk the pond edge and long formal avenues.
The landscape retains a connection to the 1914 Baltic Exhibition.
Useful to know
Budget at least an hour if you want to cross the larger park rather than visit one edge.
